Refund Policy
Refund Policy for Prima Pour Mobile Bartending (Dry Hire Service in Puerto Rico)
1. Deposit Policy (Non-Refundable)
1.1 Non-Refundable Deposit: To secure the event date and initiate service planning (including consultations, travel allowance calculation, and the creation of the Alcohol shopping list), a deposit equal to 50% of the total contract fee is required.
1.2 Deposit Status: All deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation or the timing of the cancellation. This deposit covers administrative costs, holding the date, and preliminary planning services already rendered.
2. Cancellation by Client
The Client must notify Prima Pour of a cancellation in writing (via email to info@primapour.com). Refund eligibility for the remaining balance depends on the timing of this written notice:
Cancellation Notice Period Refund Amount
(Prior to Event Date)
90+ Days 100% of the remaining balance paid (after deposit is forfeited)
31 - 89 Days 50% of the remaining balance paid (after deposit is forfeited)
0 - 30 Days 0% of the remaining balance paid (Total contract fee is non-refundable)
2.1 Final Balance Due Date: The remaining 50% balance is due thirty (30) days prior to the event date. If the Client cancels after this final payment is made, the above refund schedule applies to the amount paid beyond the initial deposit.
3. Cancellation Due to Acts of God or Unforeseen Circumstances (Force Majeure)
3.1 Rescheduling Option: In the event of an Act of God, natural disaster, government-mandated emergency, or other unforeseen circumstance that makes the event impossible to host, the Client's non-refundable deposit will be applied as a credit toward a rescheduled date.
3.2 Reschedule Term: The rescheduled event must occur within one (1) calendar year of the original event date and is subject to Prima Pour’s availability. If the Client is unable to reschedule or chooses to cancel entirely, the deposit remains non-refundable, and any remaining balance paid will be refunded according to the schedule in Section 2.
4. Cancellation by Prima Pour
4.1 Full Refund: Should Prima Pour be forced to cancel the contract due to unforeseen internal issues, staff emergency, or reasons outside of a force majeure event, the Client will receive a 100% refund of all monies paid, including the initial 50% deposit. Prima Pour’s liability will be limited to the total amount paid by the Client.
5. Gratuity and Fees
5.1 Guaranteed Gratuity: The required minimum guaranteed gratuity of $250 per bartender is not part of the contract fee and is assessed at the conclusion of the event. It is therefore not subject to this Refund Policy.
5.2 Credit Card Processing Fees: All credit card payment processing fees (3%) are incurred at the time of transaction and are non-refundable, even if a full or partial refund of the service fee is issued.
